How long have you done this job? I've done it almost 30 years. When I started, my JOB was to transcribe what the dictator said. Period. End of story. THAT was MY job. If he got the age or a "test measurement" wrong, that was on him/her, not me. AS IT SHOULD BE. I have a very broad knowledge base, a physician, PA or NP is much broader than mine and they make more money for their broad knowledge. Do not ask me to police somebody with years more experience and knowledge than me and expect to pay me a less than living wage. My work is not "bad" whatsoever. How dare you or any MTSO expect me to be held responsible for ANYBODY else's mistake. If that's okay with you, knock yourself out. THAT attitude is that gives these MTSO's the idea that they can do whatever they want to us and we will tolerate it.
