That was the first thing I tried, popping off the spacebar and - Need Opinions

cleaning out my keyboard. It didn't fix the spacebar problem. I thought about WD40 or something like that, but I was hesitant to spray oil everywhere on my keyboard. Plus I don't like the smell of WD40 and I'm very sensitive to odors.

Thanks to everyone for the suggestions! I'm checking them all out.
