I worked there 5 years ago and this happened more than once. It also happened several times prior to that. Keystrokes is a habitual offender of many years when it comes to payroll issues. There were also pay cuts back then. They even changed the entire pay schedule with less than 24 hours notice, causing many people (myself included) to incur overdraft charges. Even if they did have payroll staff out on leave, that is still absolutely NO excuse for paying their employees late, none whatsoever. It is still 100% their job and responsibility to make sure that their payroll obligations are met on time, regardless of the situation. Stop making lame excuses for them. You sound exactly like they do when they come up with excuse after excuse.
