Guess I was one of the fortunate ones. My layoff date is 10/31.. There was only one other company that I worked for that was the same mind set as Breitner and that was DRC. They sold out to Acusis many years ago. I didn't go with Acusis because the ones that bought them out were Indians. Nuance employs Indian transcriptionists. In light of our economy, I will not work for them. They laid off 140 California employees because CA has strict labor laws.
