but if your pay has been short for 6 weeks (in a row?) and you are an employee, you do have recourse. You have to file a claim with your state's DOL for unpaid wages. I know my state has a form to fill out asking how much you are owed, what the MTSO said about you getting paid and when, and other pertinent questions. They will actually call the MTSO to remind them that they must pay the money they owe you. Of course, you'll probably need to fax any documentation you have to the DOL as backup. If people had been reporting MTSOs all along, this stuff wouldn't keep happening.
