is the gross amount...they'll still taxes from that. It amounts to just about 5 weeks worth of my average pay. Not sure which 5 weeks they used, prob the lowest, because I did the math and the amount seemed too low to be 5 weeks of my average pay. But I'll take it. I'm just surprised they are giving severance pay at all. All I can figure is that they somehow were forced -- that's the only way they do ANYTHING good for any employee.
