The only reason they gave us the 30-day notice is that by law they had to...if you lay off a certain number of works at once you have to give at least 30 days' notice.
Now, I'm just wondering why they decided to give severance (with the requirement that you stay with the company until Sep 30).......I don't think that is required by law?
