I've been statutory status for years. They do take out taxes but not all of them, just the Medicare and Social Security. They do not take out Federal, State or Local. Also, no benefits either.
PS: Is anyone else bothered by people's snarky replies to an honest to goodness legitimate question? Not just this one....I see this all over the place here. In the minute it takes to say "go do a search yourself", you could use that same minute to answer the person's question. Or if you can't move on.
