be paid that interpreter fee. My husband went to urgent care a few weeks back for a bad cold. He had an ESL as the practitioner caring for him. He told me afterwards he should have brought me along because he barely understand half of what she was saying. I told him he should have; I'm always able to figure out what someone is saying whose English is not their first language.
