I know just how you feel. I tried my best to hang in there until at least 62 (although had always planned on working until at least 66), but I just couldn't make it. As you said, mind and body gave out. I went PT a few months before my 62nd and had to take a bit of money from my meager 401K until SS kicked in. Hated doing it, but what a major difference for body and mind by stopping the FT crap. So very tired of it all! Much luck to you; things can be better.
