The self scan thing at stores has always bothered me--in the beginning I thought it was unfair as it took jobs away, although when lines are long due to them only having one or two workers, it is nice to have that alternative. I've been taking things more personally lately since losing my job due to out sourcing. Added to that, it recently began to dawn on me that I'm saving the retailer money by doing the cashier's job for free and I highly resent that. Why should any of us be working for free For these greedy mega companies???
