One's religion or ethnicity should have nothing to do with the workplace. That the OP said "Jewish is as Jewish does" makes me suspect that she is a not so closeted anti-Semite. I would really like to hear her explain her reasoning for that statement. Like Nick said above, if someone said that in the workplace, there would be legal repercussions. If they had said it at my shop while I was an MTSO I would have given them a free trip to the unemployment office. And I would have done so had they dissed Catholics, Pagans, agnostics, whatever. Everbody is entitled to respect.
