That is more or less how I got into transcribing. I worked for a company that went bankrupt and because of that the State offered free retraining. I opted for transcription and went to college, as well as I received unemployment for part of the time. I love transcribing and hate editing. Oh well, another year and a half and I'll retire and try to find work online somewhere else, maybe doing something else. Who knows. Good luck to us all.
