From what I understand, I guess they can force you to use your PTO to cover your hours, even if there is no work. Was surprised to learn that companies are not obligated to even provide PTO, so it is considered a salary. Would much rather be using PTO to go to the Caribbean (if I could afford it) rather than using it to cover for hours when the company cannot supply work.
