The health system in Aus is completely different to that in the US so of course the documentation is going to be different.
I find most US- and Canada-based MTs who start with Oze fall into two camps (and Aussies who are new to MT as well). They either leave within a fairly short time because it's not what they expected and/or they struggle to adjust to Australian spellings, drug names, slight grammatical differences, etc, or they love it and stay for many years.
As the other poster mentioned, there is an adjustment phase but only you can decide if it's for you or not.
