Dear Doctor (you know who you are) - Please note Posted: Mar 21st, 2016 - 11:16 am
that last patient I transcribed for you and every single time you dictate, you DO NOT HAVE TO SPELL OUT EVERY SINGLE MEDICATION!! I KNOW how to spell asprin, nitroglycerin, tramadol, and even vitamin B, and the rest of the 24 medications the patient takes.
If you DID NOT spell every freaking m (as in Mary), e (as in Edward) d (as in dog) i (as in island) c (as in cat) a (as in apple) t (as in Tom) i (as in igloo) o (as in orange) n (as in Nancy)
all of your reports would be about 8 minutes long instead of 18 to 20 minutes, and I would have more than 45 lines to account for 20 minutes of dictation.
