Employee pay you would accept - just wondering

I see so many stating that they would not work for less than 8/4 as an IC but would you agree to work for less if you were an employee? IF so what would you work for? Would anyone work for 3/6.5 as an employee with benefits? I have an offer but ... gosh just have no idea.
