I took my SS at early age, had to keep working as well so did get less from SSA than if I had waited until full retirement age. There were a couple of years that my actual income for the year was more than the estimated so they are now withholding some of my SS every month until that amount is made up.I would have received less money during those 2 years anyway because my income was over the allowed amount but I couldn't afford to quit work or work less hours.
