I spend a lot of time these days trying to think of creative ways to 'fool' their metrics. The harder they try to control my every move, the more creative I want to be at messing with them. It does me no good in that none of my methods increase my speed or productivity (that is as good as it is going to get with the multiple accounts and mush mouths I edit for), but it does make me feel a little better about their oppressive oversight attempts. And it allows me to get up and stretch my neck and shoulder muscles (or pee) without micromanagement.
