The last time I did what you did (leaving the QA markers), and a QA person changed everything to male, said I didn't need to leave the markers since it was obvious (it wasn't). So the moral to the story is the MT NEVER chooses the correct path -- even though there can be written documentation -- the MT is NEVER correct. I'm used to it, just chuckle, and keep plugging away.
