I'm tier 3 and work PT 11-4, but still run out of work. It seems like day shift should be busier because that's when patients are awake, having studies done, ops done, etc. It seems like I get mostly op reports, but I get cardiac studies, PFTs, etc. I just don't get it, but agree that it's ultimately MMs fault that there isn't enough work. Call me "one of those who think there's a conspiracy theory," but I think those above us have the ability to route whatever work they want us to get or not get. What else do they do? In my pod, there is very rare communication from the HDSM and don't get me started on the TSA!
Who knows?! I just hope to get out soon!
