Your TSA lied. That is not what the policy states - LDSMT

Posted: Feb 12th, 2016 - 3:12 pm In Reply to: My TSA told me we can only work during our - scheduled hours. I asked.

Once you submit a remedy ticket, you are free to work the rest of the day whenever you want to make up your hours. Then, any hours not made up in that day, you need permission. I, however, am stretching that policy a bit until I hear otherwise, by starting earlier than my shift, and putting in extra hours on days when I can get enough work, to make up for days I cannot. If they cannot get me work when I am scheduled, I will do whatever I have to do get work, to heck with their stupid rules.

However, you are definitely being mislead by your TSA and she needs to be told that is not the policy. I would forward her a copy of the true policy and tell her that is what you will be doing.
