I see the post along with a comment to your post. Apparently, they got their information about starting pay being almost $17/hour from the Bureau of Labor Statistics website. Very shallow research. This is the same site I looked at when I decided to train and enter this field not too long ago and was misled. The article about the "top 10 work at home jobs for 2016" is a disservice as long as they keep medical transcriptionist as #2 in the article.
