I have been contemplating the same this very weekend. Writing out pros and cons. I am only 60, so no SS yet, but can tap into an IRA with no penalty.

The angst of being switched from a good account to a NASTY account in the last 3 weeks and losing about 50% income is OVER THE TOP.
