Employees pay 7.5% of their SocSec/Medicare. Employer matches.

Contractors pay 15% for their SocSec/Medicare but it's called self-employment tax.

THEN you are given a CREDIT of 7.5%. So you arent paying more than you do as an employee in the end game but you are expected to submit it if you do the quarterly thing.
