False Advertising? - Victim MT

Posted: Oct 16th, 2015 - 4:36 pm

As I look at most of the jobs posted on the job board, I have to wonder how they get by with advertising false information.

When they post their job opportunities, they blow the company up to make it look like it is "such a nice place to work".  They don't post anything about the low pay you will get, the possibility of being underpaid or not paid at all, the fact that if you make ONE mistake, you will be fired without any explanation or opportunity to learn from your mistake.  They do not post anything about the lack of support and communication you will encounter or about the rudeness of the QA team.

Yea yea yea....no one is going to post things like this...but don't you think that if it is such a "common" practice in these companies, that it should at least be printed in the fine print?

Don't let these MT companies trap you.  You will work like a jackass and you will never make good money and you will never get ahead in this field.  Most of these MT companies won't even respect you as a person, let alone respect your skills and education.
