Opinions about working 2 part-time jobs. - Planning my escape. sm

As non-MT part-time jobs seem plentiful in my area, I am thinking about trying to get one and also work part time as an MT (or maybe try to get 2 non-MT jobs) but not sure if this is a good idea. I am 51, single, taking care of an elderly parent, earning min wage and need a better paycheck for the 2 of us to live on. Can anyone give me pros or cons to working 2 part-time jobs? I just can't seem to take the plunge and could use a little shove, or a reality check to come up with a plan B. TIA.
