Hi all,

I am in the process of being laid off from the cardiology clinic which I work for because they are going to EHR. At this point I am thinking about going back to school in order to brush up on acute transcription since I see there are quite a few transcription jobs in that area but before I do that I would like to know what the future for medical transcription is and if the acute transcription jobs will be vanishing soon as well. Also, if this area does have a future, which school(s) would you recommend. I previously went to Allied Business School back in 2006 but now when I try to contact them and ask them for help they are basically ignoring me!

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Glenn
