Suggestion on fixing a malfunctioning key on the keyboard? - ALA

Posted: Oct 7th, 2015 - 10:59 am

My colon/semi-colon key is sticking.  When I hit with my pinky, it will not type.  I have to consciously press harder to make it type.  It's driving my crazy!  I've tried to pop the key off so that I can clean under it or oil it, but it won't come off and I'm afraid to force it.  I have a Microsoft Ergo 4000 and I don't want to buy a new keyboard!  I just replaced my old one with this one!  Well, I guess it's been a year, but shouldn't a keyboard last longer than a year?!?!
