This is all news to me...the hourly rate issue. I've been doing VA transcription for years and I've never heard of such a thing. Is this fairly new? I was hired as an IC and negotiated a line rate and also had to go through a hiring process with the VA (i.e. fingerprinting, background check, etc), but I've never been paid an hourly minimum wage. Can someone clarify or explain?
