My position with Imedx was terminated about 1-1/2 months ago for "lack of work."
Messages now are stating that Imedx is converting people from employee to IC status and also jacking up the lph requirement. Will you still receive the same line rates for text and speech, or has that also changed?
I'd like to call the Labor Department regarding the legality of this, which I believe it is not, so if anyone could respond to me via email we can talk more freely. Since I'm no longer employed by Imedx, there's nothing they can do to me, so I don't mind pursuing things with the Labor Dept and passing the information along.
I believe the expression is ... "knowledge is power."
