after 20 years of on time payments I am behind a month now. I was able to appy for borrower's assistance, Making Home Affordable program due to the decrease in pay after this last grid cut for the Bayscribe people. Waiting to see if I am approved for an interest rate reduction. or an extension to 40 years from a 30 year loan. I thought by now I would have pay increase instead of earning less now than I did 15 years ago. :'( I have been looking for a new job and trying to get on at the local hospital who are hiring scribes at 16 an hour. Meanwhile, it's an ongoing struggle as a single person to make ends meet. My ex passed 4 years ago and we weren't married so no financial help there.
