"I do not feel this is taking work from someone else" Sorry, but I am one of the people you are taking work away from. Okay maybe not you specifically, but you know what I mean. I know other shifts are low on work and then MTs flex onto my hours and then we all run out. It is a vicious cycle, but please understand you are taking work away from others. It's TSM's fault for allowing it. What's the point in having schedules if everybody can just flex whenever they want? I hate this company.
