The executives know transcription is a dying horse. They are ridin' it, ridin' it, wipin' it, all the while knowing it is about to fall over dead. They will then take their bags of money and find another industry to work in. Truth is (I think) they don't give a hoot or a thought about US MTs either way, so paranoia about that is in its own way a bit of deluded self importance. That is just the way I see it, mean no insult to anyone.
