I requested and got it, but I have not requested - a holiday for years

I just usually count on the holidays being out of work and getting it off anyway, but since it is a Saturday and my Saturday schedule is only 4 hours, I decided to just request it off and not have to worry about signing on at all. Wasn't sure I would get it, but I did. I just figure it is because I haven't made a holiday request in a long, long time, and I've been working a bajillion hours of OT.
