I say people (?) because I'm really wondering if they're human and if they possess a heart.

Due to overhiring and mismanagement once again, I am OOW and have been many times all week.

We are commanded to adhere to a schedule, but flex when there is no work and then make up the time, which then interferes with another MT's schedule.

Are we not supposed to have a life? You people at the top and in HR are reprehensible. I could say so much more, but I am better than that.

with a very high and mighty attitude of herself. I can't say specifics because I don't know how many people have heard her own personal success story, but I certainly did not need for it to be rubbed in my face and rammed down my throat. It seems the higher ups are all about bragging these days, starting with the TSMs and moving upward. It's sickening. I would hate to be them on Judgment Day.

I think that judgment day should be hastened - by all MTs callingin sick for a week.

Years ago, ALL MTs across the board should have gone on strike/quit working for 2 weeks or until companies made things better especially when it came to FAIR compensation. We missed out chance and today's conditions are the result.

No one is going to do it for us. There is wage theft, minimum wage, changing of timecards, disrespect for our knowledge, ridiculous working conditions, bad management, and no communication. It's crazy to me that people do not even know what medical transcriptionists do most of the time. When people ask me what I do and I tell them transcription, it never fails that they say "What is that?" I tell them that I type what the doctor says and they say, "What does he say?"
