I bet I'm not alone. Your new pay plan is cruel. I would rather miss out on having a quarterly bonus and getting emotionally destroyed once in a quarter rather than every single day. PLEASE RETHINK THIS PAY PLAN IMMEDIATELY BEFORE MORE GOOD MTs LEAVE. Believe me, we really don't want to leave, but who on God's green earth would want to be emotionally abused on a daily basis? Ask yourself this. Would I want my son, daughter, brother, sister, father or mother being treated this way? I think not. Thank you!

I feel terrible too every time I see that they found a mistake. I am very careful and thoroughly proof read the entire report, but still I am human and do make mistakes sometimes. If you are getting "emotionally destroyed" and see it as emotional abuse to get corrected, then you might be taking it too much to heart. Maybe you could think of it like school where your assignments get graded. I know at some point they should consider us professional enough to trust us, but they have to somehow make sure we are doing our jobs. Not everyone is as conscientious as you might think. I see a bunch of crazy stuff when I look at old reports. I am actually making more money on the new plan so it is working for some people. I have familiar and reasonably easy accounts though and I feel so bad for those who are on difficult hospital accounts, but I paid my dues doing that work as a newbie and feel I have earned the work I have. Of course everyone here warns that our accounts will be sent over to India, so I may be singing a different tune at some point!

she shouldn't have to look at it as if she is getting "graded." She is not in school. That is just crazy! I have been in this line of work for 17 years and have never seen a company treat their employees like this one. I am glad you are having a good experience with them. I did too for 4 years but this crap took the cake. For your sake I hope you don't end up singing that different tune.

Yes, I probably am letting it get to me too much; however, I have a budget and am afraid I may have to file bankruptcy and loose everything I have.

Maybe having familiar and reasonably easy accounts might make some of us feel a little better. But for those who had everything they know how to do taken away and replaced by dictators/terminology that sounds like a foreign language, expect us to do well, not send to QA and still keep up our lines, it is a little more difficult to stay positive.

They did it to me today, told me how terrible my line count was and how my quality was bad. I just listened to both of them and my mind said this is enough, so I just let loose and gave them a piece of my mind about this paying system and how there is no work and if you punch out when there is no work you make no check and if you stay in your line count per hour goes down.

My daughter heard me from the other room and thought I was going to quit I was so mad and raising my voice to them. Everything I said was true though and I don't think it went into their brains. I hope Nuance is glad to know they ruined transcription for us transcriptionists and when we are all gone they can thank theirselves for their crap. I really spoke my mind and didn't hold back on anything and everybody else should do the same if you get the chance. What can they do, fire us.

Just be careful, if you quit immediately you can't collect unemployment, so I hope you have another job. They didn't fire me after my rant. And I was so mad.

That is what it takes. I told them I know I am not the only one that feels this way like they try to make you feel like you are the only one that can't make any money. I also said to them when they said there are lots of people making lots of money, I said well if there is some secret to making money here please tell me what it is.

They didn't say this, but they should have said if you are perfect in every way line count, percent of lines sent to QA, quality then you can make some money.

I also said if you make 2 mistakes your pay goes down to 7 cents a line? They didn't say anything to that.

I really don't think they were expecting me to say anything like this and I really didn't plan it, something just took over inside me and did it.

I'm reading some posts where you're standing up for yourselves! YES! This is refreshing to see! Good for all of you! We need more of this. If all the MTs quit tomorrow, what choice would they have but to go back to India and really have garbage in, garbage out and more potential of losing their customers!! So let them! I wonder how much it would be worth to them to really DO SOMETHING to make things better for their MTs!! Good grief! Thank you ladies (and if there are any gents here...) for sharing. One huge problem is that the MTs pay is diluted and reduced by the mere fact that they've created other positions that eat up the additional 3 or 4 cpl that technically should be going to the MTs. This tells me that they are simply not charging their accounts enough per line. The MTSOs need to give their accounts a reality check and tell them that in order to pay their MTs fairly, they need to charge xx amount of dollars. It seems the MTSOs have a rule about never increasing the rates to their customers. Well excuse me, but what about inflation!? Hello MTSOs! That's where the cost of doing business definitely gets passed on to the customer! JOS

This doctor is absolutely disgusting.  I have umpteen jobs for him and he is constantly coughing and snorting up his snot.  I can't take it any more.  It is so gross.  He sounds like a snorting PIG.  On top of that, he's constantly forcefully flipping through the pages of the chart and it must be right near the microphone because it feels like it's going to break my eardrums.  All I can do is keep calling him nasty names...he's such an idiot, jer ...

The site I used to go to does not exist, and the DocQManage site only has statistics, QA submitted reports and client profile look up. According to a poster below which has apparently already attended one of the payroll meetings (as the poster posted) for nuance they have decided to keep the incentive part of all of our pay going with an exception that now you have to have over the industry standard of 98% to get a production based incentive. In addition (if this poster is accurate) they have again cut the overall pay from 8 and 4 to 3 3/4 AND 7 1/2. This is nothing but a bunch of crapploa...an MT who is now getting ...
