Reminder about FIESA.... - Longtimer

Everyone needs to review Fiesa audits carefully. I received several "below 99" scores over the past 2 weeks and each of them had errors where they counted off for things that the account specifics said to do the way I did them and these incorrect deductions put  me below 99% on those reports . I put in the request to have those scores changed and in each case it will bring those audits to up above 99%.  Review and speak up when they are wrong!

I'm like you too. I check it too. I don't stress out about it but I make notes about the things they do find that I really DID wrong. On the other hand, I've found stuff they have marked incorrectly too. Reported it to my TL and she has had it reversed. QA people are just people. They aren't the absolutely last word. Glad to know someone else sticks up for themselves!! ::high five::

Look...I see you crying on every board here. You might not believe it, but there are A LOT of us working for Nuance that are happy in our jobs and not just "accepting" what they throw at us. We work hard, we pay attention to the account specs, we work our schedules on time every day and WORK while we're clocked in. When we run out of work, we take the specified steps to notify our TLs that we are out of work and generally, we have work within the hour. We make sure we volunteer to learn any new account that comes our way, getting maybe 10 or 15 accounts in our pools, so we DON'T run out.

I was like you about 5 or 6 months ago, whining at anyone who would listen, until I got sick of hearing myself and decided to DO SOMETHING about it. You figure out what you need to do or get out of the business. Also, if you hang around on these boards all day long, day after day, co-miserating with people that have NOTHING good to say, your chin will stay in the dirt. I'm not trying to be nasty here, I'm just trying to tell you like it is. I got tired of being ticked off every day, whining and crying because I didn't have any money and nobody treated me right after doing this work for 20+ years. This career has CHANGED. It's not like it used to be back in the old days. Trust me, I was THERE in the old days. Decide whether or not you want to LEARN IT ALL AGAIN and do it a different way.

When you initially had to sign up for FIESA you had to go through a training session and had to download certain documents. Do you have all your downloads in one place? If so, go there and just pull them up and it should show you how to go back in. My user id is a 5 digit number they assigned me in the beginning

The last audit with questionable counted off stuff for me was done 4/30. I sent an e-mail to my TL 5/5. Ends up that the cutoff for April audits was 5/4. They didn't bother to tell anyone this and that's not right - you need to tell the MTs ahead of time when they have a deadline for this stuff especially when they dump a bunch of audits on you the last day of the month (my case). My TL agreed that every item that was counted off for that I challenged was incorrectly counted off. I have now sent an e-mail to my manager and a bunch of folks expressing my displeasure and if they refuse to reverse this and it keeps me from getting quarterly bonus rest assured I'm sure the DOL will be happy to hear about this.

Okay, first quarter FIESA reviewed about 80 reports of mine and I actually got my incentive.  Now for this quarter, I am wavering on not getting my incentive with a 98.88 and for the past few weeks they have not reviewed a single one of my reports.  I smell something fishy.  This whole FIESA thing is to a) review enough reports a quarter so you fall below 99 and then b) if you are below 99, stop reviewing reports so you are stuck there with no chance to bring it up!  How fric ...

our post-audit reports are randomly pulled.  If you score high enough to get the bonus, your reports are gone through by the hatchet queens in India until they can find a report they can "audit" to bring you below 99%.  If you are kicked back to 98.99%, they still meet their contract requirements to the client, and Nuance does not have to pay you a bonus.  ...

I almost always get my critical errors on one particular doctor who I think I understand and then it turns out I miss something.  I think there is a way to do a report on critical errors and see if I can trend the dictator but I can't figure out how.  Does anybody know?  And before you tell me to ask my TSM I did but as usual never got an answer. ...

Much as I dislike FIESA and all this QA, what I really hate is finding out I've been typing something WRONG for 30 years.  The only thing I can say for myself is some QA decades ago filled it in for me and I didn't look it up.  Been typing Campo's fascia instead of Camper's fascia. Took a 1-point post-audit hit on it, too.  Shakes me up, what else have I been doing wrong for 30 years?  And will it knock me out of bonus territory next quarter... ...

I must admit, I never looked at FIESA, not only because it was depressing and humiliating, but its not the most user friendly site. My manager was constantly badgering me for not looking at it though and actually had me try to get on the other day when she called. How do other people get away with not looking at it? Just for "fun," I counted how many times I prevented a critical patient safety error today by catching the speaker saying the wrong age, gender, right vs. left, hyper versus hypo, you get the picture.  I quit counting at 8.  Never in my many years at Nuance have I made 8 CPSEs in 1 day.  So are we getting credit for the good work we do?  Not very likely. ...

Got a report back below 99%--Actually 98.7% with only 0.25 point reduction...for what?  Not typing DICTATION ENDS HERE on a report that only had part of the first sentence dictated....and I have to sign off that I reviewed this?  The report was sent to NHR for review with a note--INCOMPLETE DICTATION.  Okay, next time I type dictation ends here, but scoring this is ridiculous.  Why is this even an error--should have just been an  FYI--the report was never going to make i ...

I was having a good day, until I went into Fiesa...I have decided that one particular dictator--who speaks what he probably considers fluent English (He is American), is going to review for every report because he is the one I get poor scores on... I am constantly guessing if he said "and" or "in" or "on," and I missed a period....he backtracks, leaves words out, stumbles, and CANNOT pronounce even the simpelist of medications...let alone spell them, he spells them wrong too, hard to even under ...
