Usually an optimist and don't sweat things until I hear the news, but I have been burned too many times by this company since they bought out Webmedx. Yet another pay cut will be the last straw for me.

I agree - how could they cut our pay? There will probably be more stringent regulations or something. Can't imagine, but it is a replay of last year I believe, as it came to fruition right after we had the deadline to sign up for insurance.

Welcome to the dark side. Exactly one year ago Webmedx employees had the axe fall on them, first having to choose their insurance with Nuance and then being told their income, benefits, PTO, everything was being drastically reduced. They offered us an offset in income for 6 months, I guess realizing most of us would book. This enabled us to at least somewhat recover what was lost. However, at the end of that 6 months, no offset, just sickening wages and benefits. From the end of last year until now, I have repeatedly asked for an employee handbook. One year ago I was told by HR and TL that we would have one in January. Maybe they meant this January. What you do not disclose, you do not have to live up to. I don't want to discourage you, but if I were you I would prepare myself for more discouragement, loss of income and benefits. I do so hope I am wrong.

Hey if they cut our third world pay I quit. I am not working for less. It will just give me more time to get my studies done for medical billing. I cannot imagine that they would have the balls to actually cut pay. They have made millions. Well they are going to answer to God some day like we all do! That will be their payback.

I am NOT freaking out. Just astounded by the selfishness of this company and its operations and goodwill towards employees. I understand making money but this company has no morals. I really have never been on such a website with so much negativity but in reality it is the truth of what is said. Its a good place to vent!

I am just getting an early start LOL. I forget what time the meeting is. 1 or 2. Its incredible that we have to work for companies like this. I never thought I would be scraping the bottom of the barrel. I cannot believe the pigs at the top that get our pay and do not know a thing about the medical field. It is amazing how they operate. Can someone please explain to me this new email we all got this afternoon about the new pay compensation plan rolling out in December? Can anyone explain it a bit more in detail. Sounds like our pay will not be the same amount anymore as in no more cpl that we were used to? Since 2012, when Nuance "officially" took over the company I was with, they following has been very consistent. 1) Cut pay, then offer some type of carrot (incentive, bonus) to help us "make up" the loss in line rate. For the last year, the QCs were required to meet the company standard metrics of 150+ LPH, quality of 99% or higher, schedule adherence of 99%. I have never hated a company as much as I do Nuance!  They should have called it the "Screw the employee compensation plan" because that is just what it is.  I feel like I work in a third world country and get paid 1 or 2 cents a line - that's probably next!  Last paycheck even though I had 99 percent QA and 2 percent QC, I figured it out I made about $9.00 per hour.  I'm sick of this and can pretty much go anywhere for this kind of money.  Can you say CORPORAT ...

This means 65% will see decrease and/or paid minimum wage.
