I am sick to death of typing on accounts not in my BOB! This is the 4th one already and I am only an hour into my shift.

There are no samples in the repositry, there are no jobs that come up under the dictator look up feature...

I keep stuffing down the Tums, wondering why in the heck I was forced to do weekend hours when there is no work in my accounts on the weekend.

I HATE THIS. How do you all do it? Who put me in this "helper pool" in the first place?

I cannot follow all of these profiles! Then, I get a gazillion e-mails about "when typing in this account, Dr. Jerkoff wants all abbreviations spelled out, but not on Wednesdays, then Dr. Buttmunch prefers the physical exam in paragraph format" "Follow the BOS2,AAMT,MedQuist DocQscribe Guidelines,and the Client Profile"

WTF!!!

Like I will remember every accounts "Addendums" to their client profile when they are not listed IN THE CLIENT PROFILE!!!

This is INSANE!

also? got a notice from QA that i did not follow the client profile correctly regarding verbatim and when i pointed out that verbatim contradicted the client profile QA told me it "could go either way." Excuse me, does that sound like it is open to interpretation? could go either way? nice. that is about as muddy as the mississippi.

This is one of my pet peeves that drives me insane. Just tell the guy NO, we do all histories in this hospital this way. You won't die you big baby if yours are "special." Bad enough I type for 15 different facilities and EACH of them has different rules, but when every doctor has special rules inside the special rules I want to scream (or eat which is how I usually handle it and my doctor is griping at me. He is probably one of the offenders~~).

Wouldn't it be an interesting idea to have a website where the MQ MTs could go to expressing all of their ailments since they have been with MQ -- if that wouldn't put the final scare on any newbies, don't know what else would!! Whoo, wasn't thinking too clearly about this as if the suits read it then they would have more ammunition to get rid of weaklings that would burden them and cost them their precious profits that they do not share with the ones who obviously makes it for them -- one day karma will decide to kick some major butt!!!

1. Severe anxiety/vertigo/nausea that I have to sometimes take valium for. Did MRIs, CTs, lab work....nothing...Doctor's DX: Stress.
2. Stomach problems. DX: Stress
3. Aching wrists/arms/legs/feet/back.

I'm too much of a wreck right now to try to find an in-house job somewhere...

I remember FIVE, count 'em FIVE years ago they promised standardization. Will not, cannot happen. The client rules, whether AAMT cares, JCAHO, etc.

I just utilize all the great tools MQ just handed me... Benckmark (dont forget the KB) and the previous report look up, and the repository..

Whatever... Is it safe to take 30 Tums in a 6-hour shift added to 3 Prevacid and 2 dirty martini's? If this concoction proves fatal, please... Someone explain to the media what happened to me! Tell them the Q did this to me! Cry for outrage!

about being on the 4th Tums, but if it is true I would suggest that you stop this Tums thing because Tums is a calcium-based antacid and...

No, I am not kidding about the Tums.

I wish that they caused appetite loss, but I am always hungry (probably stress) and I get headaches but that is because I have always had chronic migranes since childhood and take a ton of ibuprofen, which caused the heartburn, added to the job stress, which caused the heartburn to get worse...

So no, I wish I were kidding, but I live on the stuff. Had been on Prilosec in the past but that stuff is expensive and you can get Tums at Sams Club, 400 pills for 10 bucks! As you know, I work for the Q and make no money, so I do what I have to do.

I get stressed out so much my jaw hurts, then I have the headache and backpain. So, my doc prescribed NSAIDs. Well, that created a hole in my stomach. So then, I had to down about a half bottle of Tums per day. I had all sorts of interesting things happen! Good times! My advice, go on the BRAT diet, took about three months to clear up. Good luck!

I'm getting so tired of having a report or two, then NJA, then while waiting another report comes, then NJA, etc., etc., early in my shift. Sure, we have been encouraged to just check back later on and work then. I really don't know why they suggest or even allow this to happen.
