I have been with the "Q," not the "MM," for a month, receiving hard copy checks on Fridays until today. I sure hope I get it tomorrow. Not even sure who to call if I don't receive it. Grrrrrrrr..

I handed in direct deposit paperwork 2 wks ago and they just now told me they had to "hand enter" the information, and that I'd be getting a paper check. Nothing in mail today. This is looking really bad!!

...I was informed after I faxed everything that when my company was bought out they transferred everything over, and there were no changes. If it had been something new I'd understand, and they'd also had it about 1 1/2 weeks. Still haven't gotten it in the mail, either.

I got mine in direct deposit. Probably just late due to change over, new name on checks and so forth. Not right, but that is probably what happened. I believe on MQ Central in departments, HR, there is a number or email address for payroll.

It came in today's mail. I am not looking forward to the line count/production pay at all. My two accounts are horrific, all ESLs. I almost never get the same one twice. We shall see. I am going to give it a try. I almost never, ever see good things posted about the Q, now the MM.

Got mine too. Wow, that was close. I didn't even have a slice of bread and lunchmeat in the house. If it didn't come today, I would have been in really bad shape. HUNGRY!!

Sounds like you are in the same boat as me. Have tried to get food stamps/card, but ran in to some "hoops" that I just can't really jump through right now. If that check didn't come today I would not be eating tonight. Honestly, I didn't even have a slice of bread before that check came. I pray you have something to eat tonight. Its been a real struggle since our company was absorbed by M Model f/k/a MedQuist. I was on DD and for various reasons had to switch to paper check for this pay period. I'm a stockpiler, buy stuff on sale a lot. Such as right now I have 10 jars of spaghetti sauce, and cases of vegies. We had a good friend take our daughter to the meat market last week and he bought us enuf meat to last until the food card gets renewed. But not getting my check = unable to pay bills that are due and/or past due - more stress.

I lost my job of 15 years last May. I've had other add on jobs here and there and I've never had a problem finding a good account - until now! Our industry has substantially gone down the rabbit hole and unlike Alice, I don't think it will ever be back to what it use to be.

Here's hoping we all win big jackpots on the lottery!

Did anybody get an e-mail like this today? Just about 4 PM when I was starting my shift, I got a letter from payroll saying I would now be getting $7.50 an hour when I take PTO, when before I was told by payroll, it would be $9.50 an hour. I just wanted to tell any of you who are staying cautiously optimistic despite the negativity on this board, I am very, very pleased with my first paycheck in this new pay plan.
