I'm still laughing. I worked there for 2 weeks and couldn't get out of there fast enough. It shows a very happy woman sitting comfortably at her desk smiling away. She can't possibly work there! It says work from home on a flexible schedule (I don't think so!), competitive CPL rates (oh really?), growth opportunities (again, I don't think so). They are also offering a $500 sign-on bonus for full-time hire by 12/31/12, to be paid following 90 days of employment. Oh, one last thing, they are looking for candidates with a positive attitude, guess that rules me out when it comes to Nuance. 
Hey, I got one too and I never worked there at all - how did they get my address?

All current MTs are being laid off, probably Jan 1 (we have no definite date yet) but that would explain the push to hire FT by December 31. Very sad..we had excellent jobs with great benefits and good pay. Needless to say, none of us are going to Nuance.

[ In Reply To ..]At least you made the right choice and will be able to file for UE while you look for another job. I was an IC when my hospital chose cheap--- Nuance (and therefore not eligible for UE) and lost 50% of my pay overnight. Try paying a mortgage on that. Really, I applaud you for not choosing to work for Nuance. Completely the right choice.

Did anybody get an e-mail like this today? Just about 4 PM when I was starting my shift, I got a letter from payroll saying I would now be getting $7.50 an hour when I take PTO, when before I was told by payroll, it would be $9.50 an hour. Not that I really WANT to hear from the Q, but am I the only one who does not have e-mail still? I can log into MQ Central fine, click the "my community" button, and the regular e-mail page does come up but with only four boxes at the top (no e-mail list). Doubt he will even read it but if he does, it was nice knowing all of you. I did not use any bad language, but I did speak my mind.
