Just curious if anyone sat in on the webcast call where you could ask questions. My question was, "when will Fluency workers in Speech Rec get a much needed and much deserved salary increase?" Big shocker - it was ignored.
They just seemed to take lightweight questions and - sm

The editors who actually do the work are clearly an after thought. LOL I guess he wasn't kidding with "business as usual .."

[ In Reply To ..]Yes, probably an afterthought, but some really want to hold onto the job long-term if possible and want to be competitive globally.
I saw an article on major US corporations. They do hire US employees but hire mostly global. We'll end up with no jobs unless we become competitive. Do the politicians notice this?

This is what I got out of that webcast: We are striving for above-industry-standard in quality and TAT, but we will never compensate our MTs above the industry standard in pay, making it sound like that is impossible to do and ridiculous for us to expect.
