Applied with Transcript-USA. They emailed and said they wanted to interview me. They were supposed to call me yesterday. Then they emailed and said person was out of office due to emergency and would call on Monday. Then they emailed me today and said thanks for applying, but they can't use me! Total BS - I did not pursue several other good leads because I thought this was a good company - it is a totally flakey, disorganized company instead - avoid them.

Yeah, very unprofessional. I had a run in with them about two years ago. - Ridiculously unprofessional

They had set up an interview time, apparently did not consider the time change, and then rudely copped an attitude when I did not answer. They told me they no longer wanted to interview me if I could not answer my phone. Rude Rude. I'd say you dodged a bullet.

I've learned to always continue all job pursuits until one that fits for you is totally nailed down and you are up and running and working. This avoids thinking we have a job, but the tech person never loads their program, or various other excuses why they offered job does not start right away. It's a form of self preservation. Hey, if two places seem like a really really good fit, start with one, stall the second start date, even try working for both at once (I know, that can be brutal), but at least you have work, and then you can make a decision and dump one if you want to.

It's all about the MT gaining back control!

I've also gone back to the theory of never keeping all my eggs in one basket. Never again will I only have one job. With at least two, hopefully there is work on one system and the bills can be paid.

I worked for them a few years ago and it sounds like they haven't changed. The supervisor they have is absolutely NASTY.

It looks like they might have hired someone else before you even got to talk with them, which would not surprise me!!!

I applied for a Behavioral Transcription position with Q.E.D transcription. I took all of the exams, including the Clinic and Behavioral transcription exams. My question is this? What is everyone's issue really? I see a lot of complaining but I have found that in this industry if you do your work and stick to your schedule you make plenty of money.
