SM was only saying it like it is. Nothing 'snotty' at all. - anon Posted: Jul 20th, 2018 - 7:48 am In Reply to: At home training - Patient First
We all have been there with that question. These jobs have huge demands and it is now all their way or no way. Many times down that road of anxiety over the same dilemma. They only want 2nd and 3rd shifts, yet pay no differential for those "not-so-normal" shifts. But, they want you to train with them on the day shift because it is "business a usual" for the suits, and those in charge. Regular day shift is their comfort zone. Then they always tell us how great it is that you can work when you want and take care of your family too!!! We're just screwed any way we look at it. And that's the truth, as I have experienced it, not meant to be snarky, just facts. All this anxiety for a job that pays less than minimum wage and has you groveling anyway.
