I wonder how my HDSM is going to feel when she gets - sm

a bunch of phone calls asking to verify employment. Seriously...I put in a bunch of resumes and applications today and on each one I agreed to have them call my HDSM despite the fact I'm still employed by MM. I had no choice because it's the only employer I've had for over 25 years and I had to have a professional reference (a huge downfall of working remotely). Besides, my HDSM can't possibly believe I'm not looking elsewhere for employment when I haven't worked 40 hours/week all year, right?
