when I talked to her today (she called me, I was laid off), I asked her about leftover PTO, and she said whether they pay it or not depends on what your state requires. She said that that information would be in the packet I receive. Which means, I guess, that some states require a company to pay your outstanding PTO, and some states don't. Of course, this company couldn't be nice and just go ahead and pay it anyway, out of the goodness of their little heart.
