Is that what makes the backspace command, the curly brackets? - I am using MS Word 2002 and 2010. sm

Years ago, this may have even been in, what was it, Word Perfect 5.1?

All you did was put that in the command as exactly "{bsp}-year-old" using the curly brackets and it backed right up to the number.

I would type a number value, hit space bar, and hit "yo" and it expanded perfectly with the back up command in it.

I'd love to have it work like that again. I dont want the semicolon or other extra keystrokes that are a nuisance to use.
