...there can be other labor laws that figure into the decision. I've observed that the states that impose higher min wage are states that are relatively unfriendly to business and often impose many other draconian requirements on companies that make it almost impossible to do business (and make a profit, which is a perfectly legitimate objective for any business).
Don't assume it's all about the minimum wage.
