I think N had incompetent HR staff that didn't keep up with CA labor laws and were not paying what they should have been for a long time and realized they were ripe for a class action suit. Hence the layoff, being enticed to give up your right to sue in order to get a paltry severance pay. And current N MTs wonder why we are so happy to see N suffer. Karma's a b***h.
